A Personal and Meaningful Funeral Ceremony

Arranging a funeral ceremony is not something that most of us are prepared for. It can feel stressful and overwhelming, particularly when we are experiencing the shock of losing someone. As an Independent Funeral Celebrant based in Bury St Edmunds, and covering the surrounding areas, I am committed to supporting relatives to create a funeral ceremony that feels right and meaningful for them.

Many people aren’t affiliated to a particular religion, but they still have their own beliefs and values. With sensitivity and care, I work with people to create a unique and personal ceremony; one that leaves them with a sense of having fully celebrated the life of their loved one.

I will take the time to listen to you to get a real sense of the person who has died. I can provide help, if needed, with readings, music and other personal touches that will make the ceremony special. I will deliver as much or as little of the ceremony as you require on the day, depending on how much you, and others, may want to participate, and I will provide support for participants if needed.

I am deeply committed to conducting dignified and meaningful funeral ceremonies where everyone is welcomed into an atmosphere of warmth, support, and respect.

Planning Your Own Funeral

If you are nearing the end of your life and wish to arrange your own funeral ceremony – I will work sensitively with you in a way that feels manageable for you. I will help you create the ceremony that you want and when the time comes, I will work with your family and/or friends to make sure that your wishes are fulfilled.

Interment or Scattering of Ashes

Following the Funeral Ceremony, you may wish to have your loved one’s ashes interred or scattered at a later date. I can also help you to make this a meaningful time.
